Picking the make and model of your vehicle may seem like the biggest decision, but the color of your car might actually be the most telling thing about you. Do you stick to basic black or white? Or are you into stand-out hues like powder blue or bright yellow? The answer might be written in the stars. Keep reading to hear from professional astrologers about the color car you should drive, based on your zodiac sign—and what this says about your personality.

Aries: Red
Aries are trailblazers who love to show off, so they need a car color that will match that energy. Red is bold and signifies that they're in charge.
"For an Aries, their power color is red and they would be definitely styling in a cherry red car," says Stina Garbis, astrologer and owner of Psychic Stina, who adds that this color goes hand in hand with their fiery personalities.
Taurus: White
Tauruses are grounded earth signs, so they certainly don't need something over-the-top or flashy. They're also ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty, which means they like having things in their lives that are aesthetically pleasing.
"With that in mind, Taurus will choose a color car that is simple yet elegant," notes Lauren Degolia, clarity consultant and astrologer. She says white is the clear choice; it's classic and sleek and won't draw any unnecessary attention.

Gemini: Blue
As one of the most popular zodiac signs, it's no surprise that Gemini will gravitate toward the most common favorite color in the world—blue.
These air signs are effervescent and love to talk. They're ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, which is why DeGolia says blue is the perfect car color to "start or provoke a conversation."
Cancer: Gray
Cancers are always taking care of people. Their priority is, therefore, finding a vehicle that's dependable, so color isn't the first thing on their minds.
Most cars come in gray, plus it's a tried-and-true hue that these old-fashioned signs will love. "They would have a car whose color is rich yet subtle," Garbis tells Best Life.

Leo: Yellow
DeGolia compares Leo buying a car to the Fast & Furious movie franchise. They need something that can keep up with their big personalities, and a bright, out-there color like yellow is perfect.
"Leos are ruled by the sun which automatically implies that they are out there to shine," DeGolia adds. Plus, they love attention of any kind, and yellow is bound to make sure all eyes are on them.
Virgo: Green
Like Taurus, Virgo values practicality and stability. "They like sophistication, beauty, and nature, and that would be reflected in their dark green car," says Garbis.
These signs don't necessarily need to stand out, but they will appreciate having a car color that's less common than others. And you can be sure these perfectionists will have their vehicle looking brand new for as long as they have it.

Libra: Powder Blue
Libra is also ruled by Venus, which governs aesthetics and romance. That's the main reason they're considered the most sophisticated zodiac sign.
They'll get bored with a run-of-the-mill car color, which is why Garbis suggests light robin's egg blue. She adds that this hue will remind friendly Libras of the sky on a clear, sunny day.
Scorpio: Black
Scorpios are known for their mysterious nature. They keep to themselves more often than not, so a black car will help them blend in on the road.
"The black represents the dark moodiness that could mirror their personality or physical attributes," says DeGolia. While they have no problem going for a more expensive model, they'll definitely stick to a universal color.

Sagittarius: Gold
Like Aries and Leo, Sagittarius has no problem standing out. Any car color that shimmers is a match for them, but DeGolia suggests gold to really let their personality shine through.
"Jupiter rules this feisty fire sign and brings all the fun and optimism," she says. Plus, Sag is bold and adventurous, so you can bet their ride will be something exciting to drive.
Capricorn: Taupe
Another earth sign, Capricorn favors practicality over style. Known for their traditional nature, they're not likely to fuss over a car color—as long as it gets them where they need to be on time.
This is why Garbis recommends a tan or taupe color car, describing these hues as "simple and pragmatic." And like Virgo, they'll take great pride in keeping their car in tip-top shape.

Aquarius: Aquamarine
Free-spirited and a little eccentric, these signs are all about standing out from the crowd. "Aquarius would be styling in a gentle aquamarine-colored car that is as different and unique yet lovely as they are," says Garbis.
And because Aquarians are the humanitarians of the zodiac, you can expect them to buy a vintage vehicle as opposed to something brand new.
Pisces: Silver
As a water sign represented by the fish, Pisces are sensitive people who tend to get lost in their daydreams as a way to escape reality.
They feel most at home near the water, which is why Garbis recommends a silver car, similar to the silvery scales of fish. Don't be surprised if there's a beach chair or surfboard in the trunk.
