But Jill Loftis, an astrologer and founder at Nuit Astrology, says that Geminis have a thousand solutions to any problem just rolling around in their minds. And since they like to be included, they might be willing to jump in and help—as long as it's with one of their ideas.

5 | Libra

Peacekeeping Libra hates when there is trouble of any kind. Loftis says they often swoop in to help or offer a solution. They’re cooperative and will do pretty much anything you ask them to.

In addition to shying away from conflict, these signs are great communicators and probably have a mile-long list of friends. If for some reason they don’t know how to solve a problem or aren’t available, then they will without a doubt make sure that someone else is able to offer a hand. Above all, Libras are authentic—and they’re known for their people-pleasing tendencies. Whether they’re volunteering at a charity event or helping a friend move into a new home, you can count on them to help.

Aquarians always stand up for what they believe in—even if others might not agree with them. They are unique individuals who genuinely care about the world around them, so being helpful is a no-brainer.

“They are humanitarians at heart and will go the distance for the sake of humanity and the greatest good of the people,” says Rebecca Schmidt, astrologer at Trust the Effing Process. You’ll often find these air signs volunteering and giving back to the community. They also have their own way of thinking, so their ideas and problem-solving solutions may just prove to be the best thing since sliced bread.

If you need emotional support, Cancer will be there with bells on. “They love to help out through nurturing and caring for their loved ones and will go above and beyond to make others feel at home,” says Schmidt.

As a water sign, these crabs are intuitive and can always pick up on what others need. They are generous beyond belief, and it makes them feel good to be of assistance—no matter how big or small the task. It’s all these traits, plus the Moon, their ruler in charge of emotions and instincts, that gives them their neighborly spirit.

Taurus is loyal—sometimes to a fault. But if you need something, they'll be there for you. As an earth sign, they’re grounded—which means they're able to think about something rationally and practically before diving into it. “This hard-working sign is happy to lend a hand, offer their ear, or bring you a meal,” says Loftis. These folks are easy to be around and they want to be accommodating if a situation presents itself.

“They are down to earth and great with their hands,” Schmidt adds. “A lot of Mr. or Ms. Fix-its have Taurus in their birth charts.”

Virgo is the sign of service. They have an innate need to be needed and want to offer a hand whenever they can. It’s these things, plus their incredible organizational skills, that make them the most helpful zodiac sign.

Schmidt says Virgos love to help others and will go out of their way to do so. While others might sit back and let someone else take the reins, these earth signs will be first every single time. "They are great at organizing and tackling to-do lists,” Schmidt says. “They are also great at giving solid advice and offering support and healing.”
