We know, 2020 felt like the longest year of your life. When COVID-19 hit the U.S. in March, everything instantly changed—and most of us can agree it was for the worse. Thankfully, 2020 is finally coming to an end. And even though no one can predict exactly what will happen in 2021, the year seems to already have a lot going for it. From Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's return to the Golden Globes, to the Super Bowl, to the prospect of hugging your loved ones for the first time since COVID-19 hit, there is so much to look forward to in the upcoming year. 1 | Serena Williams could tie the record for Grand Slam titles in February.

After such a quiet year in professional sports, Serena Williams' fans are looking forward to seeing her play again in 2021 and there's a lot at stake. The legendary tennis player could win another Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this February, which would tie Margaret Court's record of 24 major career titles. 2 | The Super Bowl—and The Weeknd's half-time show—are set for February.

We don't know who will be playing at the Super Bowl in 2021, but America's biggest football game is set to take place on Feb. 7, with The Weeknd performing at the half-time show. And even though it may not be a huge crowd (or any crowd) at this Super Bowl, if you're a big sports fan, it'll be enough to hold you over.

3 | Tina and Amy return to host the Golden Globes in February.

Although the exact plans for the Golden Globe Awards are still undetermined, this annual award show is officially set for Feb. 28, with iconic duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosting for the fourth time. Since so many major events were virtual this past year, an in-person show hosted by these two stars is what Hollywood fans have been missing.

4 | Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new podcast will roll out.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle are bringing their new podcast, Archewell Audio, to Spotify in 2021. And if the first episode, which was just released after Christmas, is any indication, there are going to be many sweet moments between these royals to come.

5 | You may be able to see the Broadway shows and concerts that were canceled in 2020.

Two of the biggest events that were canceled in 2020 were concerts and Broadway shows, most of which have been rescheduled for 2021. Going to a big show with a huge crowd of people feels like a lifetime ago, but it may not be too far off now. Anthony Fauci, MD, told actor Jennifer Garner that he imagines we'll be able to "sit in a theater and watch our favorite performers up on stage again" by fall 2021.

6 | All the new Warner Bros. movies are coming to HBO Max.

Because movie theaters have been closed due to COVID-19, all the Warner Bros. movies that were supposed to be released in 2021 will now be streaming on HBO Max in the coming year, too. Some of the movies being added to this service include Dune, In the Heights, and Matrix 4.

7 | Sister Souljiah's long-awaited sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever will be released in March.

It's been 20 years since Sister Souljiah's hit novel The Coldest Winter Ever was published—and fans have been anxiously waiting for the sequel, Life After Death, which is set to be released on Mar. 2. 8 | An official Friends reunion will start filming in March.

Although the six stars of Friends didn't get to do their reunion special this year, Matthew Perry shared on Twitter they're going to start filming it in March. No one knows what this reunion will entail, but Friends fans are waiting patiently for it to be released on HBO Max in the spring. 9 | You should be able to travel again.

And if 2021 does eventually turn into the year we're hoping for, that vacation with your friends or family may actually happen, without the fear of getting sick.

10 | You may be able to return to work.

Doing everything from home may have sounded fun at first, but on month 10, you probably miss the office and your kids, if they're not back in school yet, likely miss the classroom. In 2021, you may just be able to have a work life and a social life that exists beyond the four walls of your house.

11 | Adele will be releasing new music.

Even though Adele hasn't announced when her album is coming out, she does plan to release new music in 2021. In fact, Adele's drummer, Matthew Chamberlain, revealed on The Eddie Trunk podcast that she's returned to the recording studio.

12 | A super total lunar eclipse is happening in May.

On May 26, a super total lunar eclipse will take place, the first one since Jan. 2019. If you're in certain parts of the U.S., you'll be able to see the lunar surface turn a reddish-copper color for a nearly 15-minute lunar eclipse. Those in Hawaii, most parts of Alaska, and all of the lower 48 states should be able to witness this amazing event.

13 | The Marvel film Black Widow will be released in May.

Although Black Widow couldn't be released in theaters in 2020, it is now set to hit the big screen on May 7. In this film, Marvel fans will get to know the story of Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson, before she became the Black Widow.

14 | The Tokyo Olympics are finally happening in July.

There won't be as many people in the audience this year, but the thrilling games will finally become a part of our lives again, uniting the world for an exciting reason, rather than a worrisome one.

15 | The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is in October.
