Here's Why Kim Kardashian Wants You to Drink Pineapple Juice

Let's just say it's for the bedroom.

Fact: at 37 years old, Kim Kardashian is every bit as stunning as she was when she first became the veritable "It Girl" of the Internet over a decade ago. Perhaps that's why her beauty empire is flourishing, and why every post that she writes about how to achieve her dewey skin and infamous arched eyebrows get millions of views.

And when she's not busy reminding us that women have every right to post nude photos of their bodies if they want to and that moms are still sexy, too, she's giving great tips on how to essentially look ageless forever.

Which is why her fans went nuts recently when she posted a sexy, though unusually cryptic, Instagram post in which she asked her followers to "google the benefits of pineapple juice."

Unlike many of her beauty posts, this one didn't seem to be an advertisement of her brand or sponsored content, but rather a little locker-room advice from one woman to another. So fans immediately began to frantically Google what magical properties pineapple juice can possibly have.

Indeed, pineapples—and pineapple juice that doesn't contain added sugar—are a great source of magnesium, vitamin C, calcium, and an anti-inflammatory enzyme called bromelain. But we're pretty sure KK wasn't alluding to the wonders that this juice works on easing digesting, easing joint pain, and reducing sinus swelling. In fact, many believe she was referring to the belief that pineapple juice can make your vagina both smell and taste better, which makes it a beneficial thing to have a few hours before you plan to engage in oral sex.

Ultimately, this is considered an old wives' tale. But there are plenty of women and men who swear that drinking it really did make them taste better down there, and when Healthline asked a gynecologist to weigh in on the method, she said that many of her patients claimed they noticed a positive change after drinking the juice. However, this is all purely anecdotal evidence, and since there's no official scientific study to give us a definitive answer, that's all we've got to go on at this point.

Not to mention, all of your bodily fluids are influenced by what you eat, so there's a logic to the idea that drinking something as naturally sweet and acidic as pineapple juice can contribute to a better overall aroma. But eating health and exercising will do that for you, too.
