There's always plenty of drama onscreen when it comes to the Real Housewives franchise. But sometimes, the most serious issues involving the reality stars take place when the cameras aren't rolling. At this point, a number of Real Housewives stars have been arrested, including for being under the influence. Some women were arrested for driving while intoxicated, while others ran into trouble with the law for being intoxicated in public.

As fans of the shows know, these aren't the only kind of legal charges Real Housewives have faced. Two of the highest profile cases ended with Housewives serving time in prison. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice served time on fraud charges, and Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is currently in prison, also for fraud.

The reality stars who were arrested for being under the influence faced less serious charges, but some of them still had to accept the consequences, including probation and rehab. Read on to find out more about eight Bravolebrities who were arrested for their drinking.
