If I’m spending a third of my life pressed up against sheets, they better feel amazing and help me avoid unnecessary breakouts and wrinkles.

Yes, this skincare line is absurdly expensive (I shelled out $258 for the Intense Serum), but the pros are hailing it as one of the few science-backed products revolutionizing the market. Even the Mayo Clinic is selling it (but note that it’s not currently FDA approved).

When I told my most recent derm that I wanted the Lindsay Lohan glowup this spring, she recommended starting with the Intense Serum, which contains platelet-derived exosomes.

“Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells release, containing proteins, lipids, and genetic material,” the Mayo Clinic says. “These exosomes can stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.”

Using the serum every day should improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles within 6 weeks, based on clinical trials. For me, it was a better choice than painful lasers.

I have naturally curly hair, which means my frizz can reach new heights on hot and humid days. I ditched straighteners years ago, so blowouts are my only heat-styling method—and using ColorWOW’s Dream Coat SuperNatural Spray ($12) is my secret first step.

This wand is basically a dermaplaning razor, which you can use once every two or three weeks to gently remove fuzz and dead skin from your face and neck. 5 | Beauty By Earth Self Tanners

In my world, I’m never fully dressed without a tan. In high school, that meant frequenting the tanning salon (yikes, sorry skin). These days, it means booking a spray tan before a trip or bottle bronzing with a glove at home. If you’ve dabbled in the art of self-tanning, you know that many formulas smell like burnt peanut butter or ruin your clothes and sheets with disgusting orange stains.

Recently, I found Beauty By Earth, an organic and natural beauty line that makes several USDA Certified Organic tanners that are free of synthetic colors, fragrances, parabens, and sulfates. Through trial and error, my favorites are the Self Tanner Body Mousse ($34.99) and the Self Tanning Water Bronzing Face Mist ($29.99).

The Body Mousse is light, airy, and white (applies clear), dries quickly, and smells like vanilla (my husband always thinks I’m wearing a good perfume when I’m “baking”). I like the Face Mist because you can just spray it on your face, neck, and décolletage after a shower for a nice glow about 4-6 hours later. I use it at the start of the week for a pick-me-up, and then by Thursday or Friday, I’ll use the Body Mousse for an all-over weekend tan.

When it comes to makeup, I’m all about the dupes. Why spend hundreds of dollars during Sephora’s Spring Beauty Sale when you can get the same shades and quality at the drugstore?

For instance, a great dupe to Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation ($43) is Clinique Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup & SPF 15. It’s much cheaper ($17.64 at Walmart) and has sunscreen in the formula, which is a must for spring and summer.

7 | MakeUp Eraser Farmers Market 7-Day Set
