The Fast and the Furious franchise has moved beyond its humble origins as a street racing movie to become one of the highest-grossing franchises in Hollywood history (Furious 7, the last entry in the franchise before this weekend's new release, The Fate of the Furious, made over $1.5 billion worldwide).
