Cher is no stranger to extravagant fashion, so her runway ensemble for the show was almost tame by her standards. She wore a bodysuit with shoulder pads paired with leggings, both of which were printed with a marble-like design. The look was paired with platform boots. As reported by Women's Wear Daily, Cher walked out to her song "Strong Enough," and joined Rousteing on the runway. The two embraced before walking off together to cheers from the crowd.

She was shouted out as an inspiration for the line.

Footage from the event shows that Cher was also included in a video that was played at the fashion show. In one clip, she's holding a handbag from the fashion line.

Also, on the Balmain Instagram account, there's a Vitruvian Man-style drawing of a person who appears to be Cher. The post is captioned, "SHE IS THE BLUE PRINT."

Cher had the "best time" appearing in the show.

Cher raved about the experience on Twitter and explained why she took part.

"JUST HAD BEST TIME, ON STAGE…FELT GREAT," she wrote. "SHOW WAS PROBABLY BEST FASHION SHOW 'EVER' MODELS WERE BEAUTY FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE. CLOTHES 2 DIE 4..OLIVIER 2 DIE 4"

She added, "STAGE WAS CALLING ME cher…..oh cher….come Home….I HEAR YOU."

Fans are going wild for the surprise appearance.

Cher's fans loved her walk down the runway. In response to her tweet, followers expressed their excitement and also urged her to return to the stage to perform music. Cher's last tour ended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One fan wrote, "You have no idea how my heart jumped when I saw that, how I screamed and how I cried tears of pride! My Queen, my Supernova, my Everything PLS COME BACK ON OTHER STAGES, WE MISS YOU MORE THAN I COULD EVER MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND IT IN 1 TWEET."

To this, Cher responded, "It’s been Hard for me. I’ve Feared I might not….. BUT SKIPPING DOWN THE RUNWAY MADE ME THINK WOMAN…PULL UP YOUR BIG GIRL G-STRING, & DO YOUR BEST."
