If you're one of the 7.5 million members of BJ's Wholesale Club, you know the warehouse is a great place to find bulk items as well as groceries, household essentials, gas, tech, apparel, and more at discounted prices. But what you might not know is that the company also offers its members a variety of free services at its 254 locations across the country. And, unlike other warehouses like Costco and Sam's Club, there's even a free way to shop BJ's if you don't have a membership.
Here's how to be a savvy shopper and take advantage of all the free stuff BJ’s has to offer.

1. Free 1-Day Pass for Non-Members
If you're not a member of BJ's or have been on the fence about signing up, the warehouse offers a free preview in the form of a one-day shopping pass. Unlike Costco where you need to be a member to even enter a warehouse, BJ's doesn't shy away from giving the public a first look on the house.
Simply create an account on BJ's website, then reserve your free one-day pass, which is valid for 24 hours at your local warehouse or online.
Just note that, if you buy anything, you won't enjoy the same discounts as a member would. In fact, you will have to pay a little extra. "Unless specified otherwise, all 1-Day Shopping Pass transactions include a 15% non-member surcharge on all merchandise (with the exception of alcohol)," according to Closet Samples. "This surcharge gives prospective members a glimpse of the benefits that await when they upgrade to full membership."

2. Free Second Membership
There are two types of memberships at BJ's: The Club Card Membership, which is $60 a year, or The Club+ Card Membership, which is $120 a year.
In both of these arrangements, you can get a free complimentary membership for someone else in your household. Meaning: You won't need to be the only one who can make a BJ's run! Splitting the grocery hauls—and taking advantage of the warehouse's discounts—can be a two-person thing.
3. Free Same-Day Deliveries
Both BJ's memberships—and BJ's One+ Mastercard Members—also come with the perk of two free same-day deliveries a year at participating locations across the country. This can save you $30 in delivery fees.
To take advantage, the items in your order must be eligible for same-day delivery and total $50 or more after discounts and before taxes. This applies to orders placed online or in BJ's mobile app.
4. Free Curbside Pickup
Curbside pickup is a convenience we've all gotten used to over the past few years, and with a BJ's membership, you can pre-order, pickup, and go for free... in most cases.
For Club Card Members, BJ's offers free curbside pickup on orders $50 and up.
For Club+ Card Members and BJ's One+ Mastercard Members, this service is always free.
5. Free Michelin and BFGoodrich Tire Installation
BJ's members who are in the market for a new set of tires can get certain brands installed for free at the company's tire centers.
Now through April 31, 2025, Michelin and BFGoodrich tire installations are free if you buy one set (a savings of $80). But note, this offer is only valid on tires purchased at BJ's, and it's not available at all locations.
6. Free Tire Rotation and Flat Repairs
BJ's Tire Center also offers other freebies to shoppers who use their installation services. These include free tire rotations and flat repairs, which can really save you in a jam.
7. Free Shipping & Other Special Offers
According to Coupons.com, the Wholesale Club will routinely offer promo codes for free shipping on its website throughout the year.
In the past, the company has also offered some pretty sweet deals, such as a limited-time promo that included getting 3 months of membership for free.
BJ's has also hosted eyewear specials, such as a buy one, get one free deal on glasses with reflective coatings, or free replacement frames if your vision prescription changes within a certain period of buying new glasses.
A hot tip: Keep an eye on BJ's social media channels, like Facebook, to be the first to know about new freebies.
