It’s a new year, and HomeGoods is here for it! My daughter and I stopped by our local store in Dresher, PA, on New Year’s Eve, and the workers were busy stocking the aisles with brand-new merchandise. Christmas decor was 80 percent off, and down to only an aisle or two. The rest of the store was stocked with a wide selection of fresh finds, ranging from Valentine’s Day and Easter decorations to neutral year-round decor. What were some of the best items I saw in people’s carts? Here are 11 HomeGoods finds everyone’s grabbing to start 2026.

Spring decor is starting to flood in, even though the first day of winter was just a few weeks ago. There were so many great faux flowers, plants, and vases. This setup was in front of the store, and there were so many things I wanted to buy.

Valetine’s Day Candles

Christmas candles are almost gone due to a major sale. I picked up this red candle from Ninety Six, Scent No. 28, and fell in love. Literally. It smells like your teenage crush, the candy-scented perfume you wore as a teen with notes of apple, cherry blossom, sandalwood, and sweet vanilla. There are several other V-day candles to choose from.
