Whether you’re rushing out the door, feeling lazy in the morning, or just in desperate need of a second cup of coffee, Starbucks always seems like a good idea. However, it doesn’t take long for those afternoon pick-me-ups to take a toll on your wallet. In fact, many customers would argue that Starbucks is no longer affordable, prompting folks to look elsewhere for their pink drinks and breakfast sandwiches. And according to TikToker Lora McLaughlin (@lorafied), Costco is the best place to find Starbucks dupes—just see for yourself below!

Costco’s in-house brand, Kirkland Signature, has an impressive dupe for one of Starbucks’ most-ordered breakfast items, the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich. “It’s the exact same sandwich,” raved McLaughlin, adding that it even comes on “the fancy little croissant bun.”

An eight-pack of breakfast sandwiches evens out to about $2 a piece when you buy them from Costco, versus at Starbucks, where a single sandwich costs you $6.

Kirkland is putting its own tasty spin on Starbucks’ popular egg bites. Similar to the coffee company, Kirkland offers two options, one of which is vegetarian and is “an incredible dupe,” according to McLaughlin.

The sous vide egg bites are made from nearly all the same ingredients, aside from the meat lovers option, which has gouda instead of gruyère. “These guys must have come out of the same factory,” she joked.

But despite their identical recipes, McLaughlin said the price difference between Costco and Starbucks is “massive.” The Kirkland bites retail for $2.40 each, while Starbucks charges $5.75.

3 | Dupe for Madeleines

If you can’t get enough of the Madeleine cookies at Starbucks, you might as well pick up a box of them at Costco. “At Starbucks, these guys are costing you 250 percent more,” McLaughlin said.

The French cookies are individually wrapped, so you can enjoy them on the go and don’t have to worry about the others going stale. Find them in the pastry/baked goods section at Costco.

“They aren’t exact, but close enough,” per McLaughlin. The dupe in question is the Jimmy Dean Delights English muffin sandwiches, which come with turkey sausage, cheese, and egg whites. They boast 16 grams of protein and are sold frozen in a 12-count box.

“This has turkey sausage, while the one at Starbucks has a pork sausage. But for $1.33 each compared to almost $5, I’m going with the healthier option,” she noted.

5 | Pink Drink Refreshers

This one isn’t so much a dupe as it is a just a better deal. Costco is selling Starbucks-branded Pink Drink Refreshers by the dozen. “If you are still buying this little guy at Starbucks, you’re paying 220 percent more!” said McLaughlin.

The fruity beverage is a blend of Starbucks’ Strawberry Açaí Refreshers drink, passion fruit, and coconut milk. Customers go wild for it during the warmer months, but now you can enjoy it year-round and at a fraction of the cost with a Costco membership.
