Whether you’re a die-hard fan of their popular prepared foods or simply love to save money while stocking your kitchen with bulk ingredients, a Costco run can be a no-brainer for your meal necessities. But even if you have your standbys, every so often, a coveted new product will arrive on shelves that really catches members’ attention—especially if it’s a great deal. The latest example of this is Graza olive oil, which Costco is selling for less than its competitors.

In a recent video posted to TikTok, grocery shopping expert and influencer Bobby Parrish touted the chef-approved and millennial-adored pantry staple during a visit to the warehouse retailer.

“This is single-origin Spanish EVOO from the harvest of December of last year,” he says. “Good quality cooking olive oil!”

While Parrish admits he doesn’t love the plastic squeeze bottle packaging that makes it unique, he still says shoppers can rest assured that the cooking essential is fresh. “It hasn’t been in there too long, and it’s not a clear bottle. If you’re looking for some good oil at a great price, give it a try!” he suggests.

You’ll save big if you pick it up from the warehouse retailer.

But it’s not just the arrival of the hyped brand that’s worth pointing out. One-liter bottles (34 ounces) of the Graza “Sizzle” oil—which is meant to be used as a base for cooking and sauteeing—sell at Costco for $13.99. By comparison, Walmart sells a 25.3-ounce bottle for $19.40, a 61 percent savings if you buy from Costco!

Industry pros have gushed over the oil before.

Sizzle represents just one-half of the Graza lineup, alongside the bolder and more flavorful “Drizzle” version, meant to be used as a finishing ingredient. But thanks to its higher smoke point, the stovetop Sizzle oil is nearly perfect for sauteeing alliums or preparing your pan for chicken or fish filets, Danielle St. Pierre, a senior editor at Food & Wine, wrote in a review.

“It provides a mellow hint of flavor without overpowering whatever I’m cooking,” she explains. “I’ve used other grocery store olive oils that have imparted a strong, heavy flavor to the proteins or veggies I’m cooking. That never happens with Graza's Sizzle: She's the chameleon of cooking oils.”

Some customers love the product and vouch for its flavor.

In a discussion on the Costco subreddit, home chefs had split opinions about the buzzy kitchen staple. But while some were quick to say it was nothing more than sleek marketing, others pointed out that it stood up against other brands on the shelf where it matters most.

“Flavor-wise, it's a mild olive oil, pleasant on the palate, with a fresh aroma typical of high-quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO),” Reddit user wikichipi wrote. “It lacks the bitterness that you often find in EVOOs sold in the U.S., especially those made from Italian olives.”

“The squirt bottle is new to me, but honestly, it’s pretty cool and convenient to use,” they add. “Plus, the dark, opaque container should help keep the oil fresh longer…In short, if you're looking for a quality olive oil at a good price, this one's a solid choice.”

The takeaway.

Costco is now selling bottles of buzzy olive oil brand Graza at its stores. Many customers and industry professionals praise the mellow flavor of the Sizzle cooking oil, which makes it stand out among a crowded field of competitors as a truly versatile staple. But perhaps most importantly, shoppers will save more 61 percent when they pick it up on their next Costco run versus grabbing it from Walmart.
