CNN News anchor Anderson Cooper has done hundreds of interviews over the years, talking to everyone from polarizing politicians to legendary celebrities. But there is one guest, well actually eight, that he said he would never allow to appear on his show, Anderson Cooper 360°. While on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Cooper said if he had to ban one guest from his show forever, it would be the Kardashians. To see what Cooper had to say about the famous family, read on. And if you're curious which guest another host does not remember fondly, check out Oprah Says This Was the Worst Guest She Ever Had.

While playing "Plead the Fifth" on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in Jan. 2012, host Andy Cohen asked his longtime friend Cooper which guest he'd ban from his show forever. Instead of picking just one person, Cooper ousted the entire Kardashian clan. And it was hardly the first time Cooper voiced his distaste for the Kardashians.

In April 2012, while discussing the reality stars with actor Kristen Johnston on his show Anderson Live, the two shared some animosity for the Kardashians. Cooper described the news that the Kardashians signed on for another three seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians as "depressing," adding, "The guys on it seem dreadful."

During another episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, this time placing Cooper's assistant in the hot seat during a game of "Truth or Drink," the anti-Kardashian rhetoric popped up again. When asked which celebrity his boss refuses to have on the show, Cooper's assistant said the Kardashians.

The feeling doesn't seem to be mutual between the Kardashians and Cooper, however. The day the news anchor told Cohen that he would ban the Kardashians from his show, Khloé Kardashian tweeted just minutes earlier, "I love Anderson Cooper! #SilverFox."

More recently, in May 2020, Kardashian sent her congratulations to Cooper when he welcomed his first child. She commented "Blessings!!!!!" on his Instagram surrounded by a bunch of red heart emojis.

But Cooper isn't alone in his Kardashian disdain. Here are some other spots where the Kardashians are reportedly not welcome. And to see which guest went down in infamy on a different show, check out This Is the Worst Guest "Today" Has Ever Had, Host Says.

1 | The Hamptons

One of the Kardashians' many spinoffs series was Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons. But locals didn't make it easy for the stars to film in town. According to Page Six, local authorities advised residents to call the police if they caught the sisters filming on any of the public beaches. The Kardashians were banned from shooting in most of the popular spots in East Hampton and South Hampton, including celebrity favorite Nick & Toni's.

Instead, the pair was forced to film in the lower scale Hampton Bays. "The Hamptons Bay [sic] is where they are allowed to film because celebrities are non-existent, and the village is eager for the press," a source told Radar Online. 2 | The Met Gala

It's only in recent years that the Kardashian family has been allowed to attend the Met Gala. A source told Radar Online that Kim Kardashian's name was left off the list in 2012 as a direct order from the host herself, Anna Wintour. "Anna hates Kim," the source said. "Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world, and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all."

However, it seems Wintour changed her tune once Kardashian and Kanye West became more serious, even allowing Kardashian to grace the cover of Vogue twice. Now the Kardashians and Jenners rule the red carpet at the annual gala, except Khloé, who, rumor has it, Wintour believes is "too C-list" to get an invite. 3 | South Beach

After the first two seasons of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the residents of South Beach barred the sisters from filming in their neighborhood for a third season in 2012. The Kardashians were forced to find a rental home 14 miles away from chic South Beach in North Miami Beach, an area "known for its hourly hotels, strip clubs, and high crime rate," a source told Radar Online. "It’s a far cry from their usual posh digs, with just a 7-Eleven and an abandoned old bank close by." A source told Star in 2016 that Kris Jenner's boozy antics at past Academy Awards parties at Raleigh Studios got the whole Kardashian clan banned from one of the most popular Oscar pre-parties.
