Brian Austin Green Finally Responds to Megan Fox Feud in New Video
His response comes days after Fox publicly criticized him for portraying her as an "absent mother."
The day after Halloween, Megan Fox slammed her ex Brian Austin Green for posting a photo of him and one of their children in what she said was an attempt to portray her as an "absent mother." And now Green has finally seemingly responded to the mother of three of his four children. He took to Instagram to subtly address the feud, posting a video in which he thanks fans for their "extremely kind" words of support. Green posted a video thanking people who've "been supportive of everything."
The former 90210 star posted an Instagram video on Nov. 4 from his Los Angeles home, captioning it, "Life at home while the kids are at school." Green talked about his chickens, voting, and briefly and obliquely mentioned the headline-making feud with his ex.
"I wanted to thank everyone who's come on my page and been supportive of everything. It's extremely kind and really appreciated," Green said. But after that comment, he pivoted to mentioning the ongoing United States election, saying "be kind to each other; love each other." The video was posted days after Fox publicly criticized Green for a Halloween Instagram photo.
Green's video comes just days after Fox slammed the actor on his Instagram post on Nov. 1, after Green uploaded a picture of himself in his Halloween costume alongside the former couple's youngest child, four-year-old Journey.
"Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in. I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via Instagram," Fox commented on the now-deleted post.
"You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year," she continued. "You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"

Two of Green's exes came out in support of Fox.
Two of Green's other exes—actor Vanessa Marcil, who Green also shares a child with, and Courtney Stodden, who briefly dated Green after a split from Fox—seemingly came out to support Fox.
"Like I said… The Truth always comes out in the end…" Marcil posted on Instagram, with the hashtag #ImWithYouSister. Stodden on the other hand was more upfront, writing on Instagram, "I'm so proud of Megan for speaking up about the way Brian seems to use his kids as a flex. During my time spent with him, when I was over at his house, his kids were never there. They were always with Megan. She wasn't an absent mother. The couple has had a tumultuous relationship for 16 years.
Green and Fox's relationship dates back to 2004, when he guest-starred on Fox's sitcom Hope & Faith. Two years later, they got engaged and then they called off their engagement in 2009. However, Green and Fox ended up secretly getting married just a year later.
