Calling all purse lovers! There’s a new dupe handbag in town, and it can be yours for less than $80. Meet the Walmès Wirkin, a genuine leather handbag sold at Walmart that features nearly all the same bells and whistles as the Hermès Birkin. The luxury purse has an extravagant price tag of $10,000 (and sometimes more) that's made it a status symbol of wealth and exclusivity—just ask the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But the believable knockoff has become a viral TikTok sensation, sending Walmart shoppers into a frenzy.

The Walmès Wirkin is nearly identical in appearance to its luxury eponym. The leather handbag has gold hardware, including the infamous lock-and-key feature, and one major compartment with two interior pockets. Its official product description even included the Hermès Kelly handbag as a frame of reference, seemingly confirming its origin of inspiration.
Prior to selling out, the purse was available in 12 colors, including orange, dark blue, light blue, pink, dark khaki, and dark sky gray, per People. The dupe handbag, which has an exterior made from cowhide, started at $78—more than $9,900 cheaper than its high-fashion peer.
The Walmès Wirkin was marketed to the masses as a “large-capacity lychee pattern Kelly platinum bag” boasting a “classic temperament, noble European and American style,” as reported by USA Today. It had an average customer rating of 4.7 stars out of five and stunning reviews.
But don't let the under-$100 price tag fool you—several shoppers say the bag’s quality feels far from cheap.

“It’s a good size…for 80 bucks, you can pretend that you got a Birkin!” said TikToker @styledbykristi in her unboxing video. She snagged the dupe handbag in shamrock green and noted that it also comes with an extended shoulder strap so you can turn it into a crossbody purse, too.
“I think it’s a pretty little bag,” she added.

“I think it’s a great-looking bag,” said proud Walmès Wirkin owner and TikToker @jermaingarcia8 in a video. “People who buy Birkin bags, they will never use them for what they’re intended for. This is a bag that’s supposed to go into immediate daily use, heavy use…This is meant to be an everyday bag.”

But now, the Walmès Wirkin is becoming just as hard to purchase as the Hermès Birkin.
The handbag dupe, which blew up on TikTok right around the holidays, has evidently sold out–and it appears Walmart doesn’t have plans to restock its Wirkin anytime soon. In fact, the purse’s product page has been wiped from the retailer’s website altogether, and according to several frustrated customers, Walmart is no longer processing pre-paid orders. On TikTok, Walmart shoppers who already ordered and paid for the bag claim their purchase has since been canceled due to “seller issues.”
Best Life has reached out to Walmart about whether it plans to restock the handbag and will update this story with its response.
