British romantic drama One Day, about two friends who meet on the same day every year, got 39 million views, coming in solidly at number 10. “It’s so epic in terms of the span of years, but also it’s so intimate in terms of the relationship,” lead director and associate producer Molly Manners told Tudum. “There’s these tiny moments that you didn’t think were important, but then it turns out they really were.”

9. Berlin: Season 1

Spanish TV show Berlin about a group of strangers who get together to pull off a robbery got 49 million views. “I’ve often heard that Berlin is a cynic,” Pedro Alonso, who plays Berlin, told Netflix. “Not at all. He’s sarcastic, he has a diabolically dark sense of humor, and he can be fascinating, a real prick, whatever you want, but not a cynic… He’s a man who’s committed to rediscovering a great life, falling in love in the face of common sense and logic — a man who’s made to love, in spite of everything.”

8. 3 Body Problem: Season 1

3 Body Problem, a show about how “five brilliant friends make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel and an existential threat emerges” comes in at number 8 with 52 million views. Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are showrunners on the series based on the novel by Cixin Liu.

7. American Nightmare: Season 1

True crime series American Nightmare comes in at number 7 with 55 million views. “Elicits skepticism and shock in equal measure,” says Nick Schager for The Daily Beast. “In doing so, it underlines the potential difficulty—and yet vital necessity—of taking allegations of rape seriously, even when the narratives are outlandish and the evidence is scant.”

Griselda comes in at number 6 with 69 million views. Sofia Vergara plays Griselda Blanco, the notorious Colombian drug lord. “From the earliest days of my research for what became Narcos, [Griselda] leapt out at me as a fascinating character,” show creator Eric Newman tells Tudum. “I have always endeavored to humanize complicated people, many of whom have been considered evil, and Griselda offered both the greatest challenge and opportunity.”

Avatar: The Last Airbender comes in at number 5 with 71 million views. “Siblings Katara and Sokka wake young Aang from a long hibernation and learn he's an Avatar, whose air-bending powers can defeat the evil Fire Nation,” Netflix describes the hit animation series.

4. The Gentlemen: Season 1

Guy Ritchie show The Gentlemen comes in at number 4 with 76 million views. “The world of The Gentlemen is a little bit of me,” Ritchie told Netflix. “We’re looking forward to bringing fans back into that world, introducing new characters and their stories, and I am excited to be doing it with this extremely talented cast.”

3. Baby Reindeer: Limited Series

Baby Reindeer takes the number 3 spot with 88 million views. “This Netflix series phenom that no one can stop talking about stars an astonishing Richard Gadd as a Scottish comic who shapes his life as the victim of a stalker (a dynamite Jessica Gunning) into a twisted spellbinder that deserves serious Emmy love,” says Peter Travers for ABC News.
