Capricorns aren't necessarily introverts, but they are very particular about who they allow into their lives, which can make them come across as quiet sometimes. These earth signs are all about leadership, organization, and doing things the way they see fit. "A Capricorn would rather wait until everything is in order before speaking," Emily Newman, astrologer and founder of Best of Psychic Reader tells Best Life. Virgos like to be right and they'll feel the urge to voice their opinions if they feel like they are being challenged. However, this earth sign is also incredibly supportive, so they'll keep their thoughts to themselves until they find the ideal thing to say. "They may be quiet at times, but they are aware of everything that is going on around them," Newman says. Don't mistake their quiet nature for shyness though.

Cancers have trouble accepting criticism and tend to take everything to heart. They're highly sensitive and easily hurt, which makes sense that they're also the sign that always holds onto grudges. "Cancer isn't sure what you're going to say, so they might wait to hear your opinion before preparing their own statement or expressing their thoughts, " Loftis says. You'll have to prove to them that they can trust you before they even think about telling you anything of importance.

Pisces love the idea of escaping from reality and most of the time are more introverted. Ruled by Neptune, these people are creative and emotional, but would rather flourish in their own space. This water sign prefers not to engage in multiple conversations, according to Newman. "They do not want to gather and share any information and they enjoy being alone." Instead of speaking out right away, they'll probably take time to open up and only share things when they're comfortable.

Scorpios are emotional and know how to go after what they want, but they are also the quietest zodiac sign. Loftis shares that '"still waters run deep"' is the perfect quote to describe these people as they are usually more soft spoken, but intelligent and interesting simultaneously. These people carry things around for a while and can also collect information without other people knowing. "From what you say to your body language, they are picking up all of the cross-currents and filing it away," says Loftis. Don't underestimate their quietness though, this sign is pretty all-knowing.
