Meadow Walker just conquered the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
Beloved Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker's career was cut short in 2013 when he died in a car accident. But as his daughter, Meadow Walker, builds a burgeoning career as a model, she's carrying on the Walker name. And Meadow is making big moves rather quickly. Meadow's first catwalk was a big gig: opening the Givenchy runway show.

On March 7, Meadow made her runway debut in Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2021 show. Meadow was given the honor of opening the show on her very first runway experience. In her Instagram post, Meadow referred to it as her "exclusive debut" and congratulated Matthew Williams, Givenchy's creative director, on his first Givenchy show and thanked him "for your complete support and determination to safely get me to Paris from NY."

On the day of the show, Meadow took over Vogue Runway's Instagram story to give followers a behind-the-scenes look at the fashion show. Meadow explained that the show was taking place in a stadium-esque venue in Paris, and she noted her relief that it wasn't filled with people due to COVID. "I was just thinking if it was completely filled, and I was walking on the runway, I'd be absolutely terrified," she admitted on the Instagram story. She made her print modeling debut in January.
In January, 22-year-old Meadow shared images of her modeling debut in Proenza Schouler's Pre-Fall 2021 campaign on her Instagram. "I am so unbelievably grateful to everyone who has supported me and believed in me," Meadow wrote in the caption, thanking Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. She also thanked her modeling agency, DNA Models, referring to them as her "family." The agency, which represents major models like Kaia Gerber and Emily Ratajkowsi, announced they signed Meadow that same day. Meadow also shares throwback photos of her dad on social media.
Meadow keeps her father's memory alive by sharing photos of them together frequently on her Instagram. Most recently, on Nov. 30, the seven-year anniversary of his death, Meadow shared a heartwarming picture of her asleep in her dad's lap as he naps as well. "A silly day to remember in sadness. today's a celebration of the love and happiness you brought to the world. here's a photo of my best bud & I napping," wrote Meadow.
