The actor revealed a lighter blonde 'do as she films the second season of The Morning Show.

Jennifer Aniston is getting back in the swing of things. On Tuesday, Jan. 26, the actor shared a couple of photos of herself and her hairstylist, Chris McMillan, getting her prepped to shoot Season 2 of The Morning Show. In the Instagram selfies, Aniston shows off her new hairstyle, which is looking a little lighter than her usual honey blonde.

Aniston captioned the post, "Aaand, we're back…" along with a clapperboard emoji and a star eyes emoji. In her Instagram Story, she posted a photo of McMillan along with makeup artist Angela Levin and wrote, "Dream Team."

Aniston's Friends co-star and real-life BFF Courteney Cox said, "Gorgeous girl." Gwyneth Paltrow wrote, "Here they go!" Rita Wilson added, "Welcome back!!! Miss you!" While Aniston marked the return of The Morning Show with pictures of herself and McMillan, he isn't only her hairstylist for this role. The two have been working together ever since her Friends days, and he is actually the one who invented "The Rachel"—Aniston's iconic haircut from the show.

Aniston honored her friend at the InStyle awards in 2018. "I just have a few things to say about you," she said. "You're one of the most passionate and kind human beings that I've had the good fortune of getting to know and I get to call you my family. I feel blessed every day for that. We're going on almost 25 years together, which is shocking to me." During her speech, Aniston also admitted that she could never style "The Rachel" the way he did for Friends in her real life.

On The Morning Show, Aniston plays Alex Levy, co-host of the titular Today-inspired morning news program. And her adversary/co-host, Bradley Jackson, is played by Reese Witherspoon, who is equally amped to be back to work. She responded to Aniston's Instagram with, "YES WE ARE!!" with a pink heart emoji.

Witherspoon has been awaiting the show's return for months. In October, she tweeted, "And We are Bacccckkkkk!" along with a link to a Deadline story about the show resuming production on Season 2 after having to stop due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Deadline report explains that filming for the second season had been shutdown in March and was scheduled to resume on Oct. 19. But it seems as though filming probably had to shutdown again, as evidenced by Aniston's Instagram post and the recent state of the pandemic in California
