Dwyane Wade's Kids Are Not Happy About His Revealing Birthday Photo

"This isn't what I wanted to wake up to," the former NBA player's son wrote.

Dwyane Wade just rang in his 39th birthday, but his kids are not fans of the way he chose to celebrate. On Monday, Jan. 18, the day after his birthday, Wade posted a nude photo of himself that shows his wife, Gabrielle Union, standing strategically in front of him. The former NBA player captioned the photo, "Birthday behavior‼️ 39 is already looking up." The image has nearly a million likes, but Wade's children were not among the many people who were happy to see the pic in their feed. His kids' reactions were strong.

Wade has two children from his first marriage, Zaire and Zaya, a daughter named Kaavia with Union, and a son named Xavier from a previous relationship.

Eighteen-year-old Zaire commented on Wade's Instagram and made his feelings crystal clear. "This isn't what i wanted to wake up to," Zaire wrote with a puke emoji, a comment that's garnered over 48,000 likes and counting.

Thirteen-year-old Zaya, who is 13, commented, "Ayooooo chill, I just got on" with a bunch of horrified emojis. Her account says "run by parents," but that comment sounds like the teen really wrote it herself.

Her toddler sister, however, definitely had some help. Kaavia's account posted, "Thought I had more time before his midlife crisis." We can only assume Union is responsible for that great line.

Fellow basketball players were also taken by surprise.

Wade retired as a professional basketball player in 2019, and some of his former colleagues had something to say about this risqué birthday pic. Damian Lillard wrote, "Aye come on @dwyanewade." Delon Wright posted, "TMI," while Bradley Beal wrote, "Ok champ." Shooting coach Chris Matthews, commented, "Thought I was following the wrong page. U wild."

Union shared her birthday wishes for Wade in a separate post.

While it doesn't look like Union commented on the nude post—at least not from her own account—she did wish her husband a happy birthday on her own page. Alongside a video compilation of herself and Wade with their family, the actor wrote, "Happy Birthday baby You make every day beautiful and fun and the way you protect our peace makes me swoon. I love loving you. 39," with some fire emojis, heart emojis, and silly face emojis.

Union also posted photos of herself and Wade at a beach bonfire that she captioned "#birthdaybehavior"

Zaire and Zaya also shared their own birthday posts for their dad.

Zaire and Zaya might not have been happy about their dad's Instagram, but they both shared some very sincere birthday wishes for him on their accounts. Zaya posted a photo of herself with Wade and wrote, "Happy Birthday Dad!! 39 years young." Zaire got in another joke, commenting, "Old man."

On his own account, Zaire shared a picture of himself as a little kid sitting with his dad and wrote, "Love you deeper than the surface."
