It’s no secret that Costco has many a superfan who wouldn't buy must-haves like toilet paper and muffins anywhere else. And not even celebrities are immune to the membership-only wholesaler's charm. From Khloé Kardashian to Jimmy Kimmel, stars love wheeling their carts full of family-size treasures through stacked aisles and picking up some free samples along the way. What they're buying, though, may surprise you. Keep reading to learn about eight Costco items that celebrities love.

1 | Jimmy Kimmel: Wedding Rings
ZikG / shutterstockPerhaps the most well-known celebrity Costco shopper is Jimmy Kimmel, who told Post Malone that he's been a member since 1994. He also famously told Andy Samberg on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he purchased his wedding band on Costco's website, per Huff Post, adding, "I would have gotten married at Costco if that was an option."
2 | Kristen Bell: Green Tea
The Image Party / shutterstockRelatable and talented actress Kristen Bell is a huge fan of the warehouse chain. In an interview with Vulture, she calls Costco her “favorite store on the planet,” and says it's her go-to for her only vice, green tea, which she buys in bulk, of course.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristen Bell's husband, actor Dax Shepard, is also a fan of Costco. When he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live he quipped that he'd probably follow in Kimmel's footsteps and buy his own wedding band at the store.
In fact, after the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lincoln Bell Shepard, in 2013, the first place Shepard went was Costco, reported E! News. "After 8 days at home with LBS, my afternoon trip to Costco felt like late night rager at a strip club," he Tweeted at the time, adding the hashtag "#buyinbulkparty."
Funnily enough, the 2006 movie Employee of the Month, which starred Shepard, Dane Cook, and Jessica Simpson, took place in a fictional bulk-discount retailer called Super Club, for which an actual Costco in New Mexico stood in as the set.

3 | Kris Jenner: Dog Beds
The Image Party / ShutterstockKris Jenner told the New York Times that "Costco is a passion. Costco is like a massage." She said they have "amazing" dog beds and "fabulous" surfboards. "I don’t surf, but I’ve got to buy a surfboard. I mean, that’s how crazy I am," she added. Other items she enjoys picking up there include the salmon with herb butter and the oatmeal-raisin cookies.
4 | Khloé Kardashian: Cereal
Pictures_n_Photos / ShutterstockShopping at Costco runs in the family. Khloé Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel (yes, we're noticing a trend here, too) how much she loves the store, where she and mom Kris Jenner line up before the doors open—and use their Executive Membership privilege to shop before mere mortals.
When Kimmel asked her what she buys, she said "cr** that none of us needs," citing bulk cereal and big tubs of mayo. But she added that she's really there for the free samples.
5 | John Mayer: Sneakers

In addition to a Buzzfeed commenter's viral selfie with Mayer as he browsed the menswear at a Costco in Montana, the Grammy-winner appeared in a tongue-in-cheek video for Kirkland Signature kicks–which made the already popular sneakers an instant best seller.

6 | Jax Taylor: Vodka
ZikG / ShutterstockIt's a widely held belief that Costco's Vodka is the same as Grey Goose, and it turns out, even reality TV stars are not immune to the draw of high-end liquor for less. Us Weeklyshared an Instagram story from Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor in which he was shopping at Costco. His cart was crammed with beefy bottles of Belvedere vodka, Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky, plus Costco’s own Kirkland tequila and vodka.
7 | Samin Nosrat: Olive Oil
The Image Party / ShutterstockCelebrity chef and James Beard award-winning author Samin Nosrat (she hosted the Netflix show Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat), extols the virtues of Kirkland Signature organic extra-virgin olive oil. She recommended the brand as an everyday choice in an interview withThe Seattle Times. “It’s really good!” she said.
8 | Christina Quinn: Leggings
Arne Beruldsen / ShutterstockKirkland's leggings have such a cult following that many devoted shoppers swear they're actually made by Lululemon. We can't confirm nor deny this claim, but realtor Christine Quinn, who appeared on Netflix's Selling Sunset, told the Wall Street Journal that she buys her black leggings from Costco and loves how affordable they are.
