"Real Housewives" Stars Suspended After Physical Altercation "Drew Blood," Source Says

Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin got into it filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The women of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have never shied away from confrontation, but it sounds like a recent argument while filming went too far for producers. According to multiple reports, RHONJ stars Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral have been suspended from filming Season 14 of the show following an alleged physical altercation. Various sources have come forward with claims about how the fight began and how much damage was caused. One source even said that the tussle "drew blood" from one of the women.

Aydin and Cabral reportedly got into an argument that became physical.

According to Page Six, Aydin and Cabral were filming RHONJ at an event hosted by castmate Teresa Giudice on Thursday, Sept. 21 when they got into an argument. A source claimed that "Jennifer pushed Danielle during the argument and Danielle retaliated by crumpling her plastic cup and hurling it towards Jennifer's face, drawing blood." But, according to another Page Six source, Aydin only had a scratch after Danielle threw her drink and did not receive medical attention.

Meanwhile, a source who spoke to People shared a slightly different account. This insider claims that Cabral threw a cup, which caused the back of Aydin's earring to "cut into the back of her neck."

"They've been falling out all season, but this argument escalated in ways it hadn't yet," the source told People.

An investigation is underway.

According to Page Six, both Aydin and Cabral have been suspended from filming while Bravo and Sirens Media conduct an investigation into the incident. The two reportedly cannot even film on their own. A source told Page Six that video footage was being reviewed to determine whether Cabral threw a cup at Aydin or if she hit her while holding it.

A source told People that "nobody knows how long" the reality stars will be suspended. "Neither filmed this weekend but they have scheduled scenes this week," the source explained.

The argument seems to have occurred at a Tulum-themed party.

On Sept. 22, Giudice posted photos on Instagram of a Tulum, Mexico theme party she threw. Aydin also shared photos from the event, and Cabral was noticeably absent from one of the pictures that included several other cast members. As for Cabral, she posted an Instagram on Sept. 21 of herself and her husband dressed up in a car. She wrote in the caption, "Beach vibes and endless adventures… Holding on to good weather for dear life!"

There have been other physical altercations on RHONJ.

The alleged physical fight between Cabral and Aydin would be far from the first physical fight to take place on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. For example, during Season 12, Aydin and Melissa Gorga began shoving each other during an argument. In Season 10, Danielle Staub pulled Margaret Josephs' ponytail after Josephs poured water on her during an argument. And the early seasons of the show were particularly volatile, including a fight between Gorga's husbandJoe Gorga, and Giudice's ex-husband, Joe Guidice, as well as an incident that led to legal action between Staub and Jacqueline Laurita's daughter, Ashlee Holmes.

The cast were already divided.

Even before the schism between Cabral and Aydin, Season 14 of RHONJ was already going to feature a very divided cast. At the Season 13 reunion—and following years of not getting along—sisters-in-law Giudice and Gorga made clear that they no longer wanted anything to do with one another. Reportedly, they have barely been filming together.

"Melissa is open to filming and talking with Teresa on camera, but Teresa is not," a source told Us Weekly in September. "Producers are trying to capture other stories."

According to Us Weekly, both women did film for the show at a charity baseball game, but they did not interact. "Melissa and Teresa still didn't speak to each other," a source said. "The rest of the cast was working overtime to go back and forth to talk to both of them and have different conversations with each of them."
