Paulina Porizkova Just Revealed She Has a New Famous Boyfriend at the Oscars
The supermodel is now dating an acclaimed filmmaker.
This year's unconventional Oscars brought viewers at home a few surprises—and that included some before the show even began. As celebs start walking red carpets once again, they can also start making relationships "red carpet official" once again, and one couple did just that on Oscars Sunday. During their arrival at the ceremony, model Paulina Porizkova and filmmaker Aaron Sorkin revealed that they're an item with some flirty poses in front of the photographers.

Their behavior on the red carpet made it clear that they're dating.
When Sorkin and Porizkova walked the red carpet, they got ahead of any assumption that they were just attending as friends. The model and director posed close together, with Porizkova leaning against Sorkin and him wrapping his arm around her.
Sorkin and Porizkova were at the ceremony because his film The Trial of the Chicago 7 was nominated for six awards—including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay for Sorkin's writing. It came away empty-handed, but Sorkin already has one Oscar: Best Adapted Screenplay for 2010's The Social Network.

News of their upcoming couple debut was leaked prior to the Oscars.
Two days before the Oscars, Page Six reported that Porizkova and Sorkin would be attending the show together and revealing their relationship. The publication also reported that the pair have been dating for a few months, but had been keeping things under the radar until now.

Porizkova recently opened up about starting to date again.
Porizkova is very outspoken about dating and sex, and recently she's talked about being back in the dating game. On Apr. 21, the 56-year-old model posted a photo of herself wearing a sheet mask and a shower cap. She wrote in the caption, "Date night! Lucky the man that gets this full glory."
A couple of weeks ago, Porizkova spoke to Yahoo! about dating following her marriage to The Cars' frontman Ric Ocasek, who passed away in 2019. "I keep being this weird teenager when it comes to dating because the last time I dated, I was a teenager," she said. She added, "I don't know what I want because my husband was my soulmate for such a long time, and what he provided me at that time is no longer what I need. I need something else now because I'm way more fabulous now than I was at 19. I need a guy that can withstand my awesomeness."

Porizkova has said she's attracted to talent.
Porizkova was married to Ocasek from 1989 to 2017. In her piece with Yahoo!, Porizkova explained that she is attracted to talent, which sheds more light on her attraction to Sorkin too.
"One thing that I've recognized now, after going out on dates with some men who have normal jobs and are wonderful guys, is that I find talent sexy—and talented men are generally way more complicated than non-talented ones," she said. "I know better than to say 'never,' but certainly a rock musician is about the last thing on my dating calendar."

Sorkin has dated stars before, too.
Like Porizkova, Sorkin was also married before. He was husband to Julia Bingham for nine years, from 1996 to 2005, and they have a daughter together. The 59-year-old writer then went on to date Broadway actor Kristin Chenoweth, as well as Sex and the City star Kristin Davis.
