Chris Hemsworth shared a throwback photo of the two brothers posing in matching outfits.
The Thor actor, who's six years older than Liam, took to Instagram to share a vintage photo of the two of them together as kids. Liam is perched on Chris's lap and they're wearing matching polo shirts. The family resemblance is as apparent as ever in their blond hair and similar smiles.
"Happy birthday @liamhemsworth this photo was taken 3 years ago today," he joked. "Time flys [sic] but you haven't changed a bit."

The Hemsworth brothers have stayed close as they've found success.
Chris and Liam weren't the first actors in the Hemsworth family; they followed their older brother Luke Hemsworth into the business. Luke is probably best known for his role as Ashley Stubbs on the sci-fi series Westworld, and for making an in-joke cameo in Thor: Ragnarok, portraying "Thor" in a play commissioned by the god's brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
But Hollywood parties and red carpet events are a big change from the unrestricted life the brothers led growing up in Australia. In a 2016 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Luke said, "We'd wake up in the morning and we'd literally say, 'See you, mum,' and just disappear into the bush."

Liam is spending his birthday with his new love.
According to a Daily Mail report, Liam had a birthday party on Jan. 13 with his family and girlfriend Gabriella Brooks. Liam and the 22-year-old actor/model have been an item for a year. A source told E! Online that his family members are "happy for Liam that he has found someone that brings out the best in him."

Chris always puts family first.
It won't surprise any of his fans that Chris took time out of his day to lovingly roast his kid brother; he is all about family. He's been married to actor Elsa Pataky for over 10 years, and the couple have three children. In a 2020 GQ profile, Chris revealed that he may be taking less work going forward in order to be with his family as his kids grow up.
"Every job I'd take, every time I'd go off on these extended trips, it got harder and harder," he said. "For a little while you don't think the kids notice and then you realize they do. I absolutely want to continue to make films that I'm proud of, but that can also wait. Now what's more important is my kids are at an age I don't want to miss. And I'd hate to look back in 20 years and go, 'Right, let's get to work as a parent' and I've missed it all."
