So, to help you learn from others' mistakes, we at Best Life set out to determine the least popular cable internet provider in America.

We based our analysis on three key metrics, beginning with each provider's starting monthly price point, according to 2021 data gathered by U.S. News & World Report. Then we factored each company's 2020 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) score from the most recent telecommunications report, which is based on benchmarks including, but not limited to, how easy it is to understand the bill, quality and reliability of the service, and level of satisfaction when dealing with customer service representatives. Finally, we included U.S. News' ranking of the best cable internet providers of 2021, a five-star rating system based on unbiased expert analysis and professional reviews.

We then gave each metric a weighted value before running them through our exclusive algorithm to see where each internet provider scored on our 100-point scale Cord Cutter Index.
