The Surprising Name Adam Brody & Leighton Meester Are Calling Their Son

Their recently born second child is going by something rather timely.

Coming up with a name for your newborn baby can be hard whether you're a celebrity or not. But instead of stressing themselves out too much with a quick decision, actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have come up with a way to put off time while they think of the perfect baby name for their son: They're just calling him Joe Biden for now. In an exclusive Oct. 28 interview with People, Brody opened up about the birth of the couple's second child—a son—and how the experience has been a special one amid the current state of the world. "For us, luckily in this time in our lives, this moment in our lives, this family growing by one has definitely had its magical moments and it's had its benefits, for sure," the former star of The O.C. said. He then jokingly added that he and Gossip Girl alum Meester have been calling their son "Joe Biden until after the election."

Brody also says that he hasn't noticed any differences yet between caring for his son and his now 5-year-old daughter, Arlo, but that he "can certainly already tell the differences in personality."

"With my wife, certainly preoccupied more than usual these last six months, I've even gotten to spend extra time with [Arlo]," Brody told People. "It's been magical, and I'll remember it for the rest of my life."
