She also responded to comments about their 40-year-age gap: Cher is 76, while her new partner is 36.

Cher is dating Alexander Edwards.
Cher's new boyfriend is Alexander "A.E." Edwards. According to Harper's Bazaar Australia, he is vice president of A&R at Def Jam Recordings. People reports that he is signed to rapper Tyga's music label, Last Kings Records, as an artist.
Edwards previously made headlines for his relationship with model Amber Rose. The two share a son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, who was born in 2019. Last year, Rose publicly said that Edwards cheated on her with multiple women, which he then admitted to, as reported by E! News.
Cher confirmed the relationship and defended their age gap.
On Nov. 3, TMZ shared photos of Cher and Edwards holding hands outside of a Los Angeles restaurant. The website reported that after the pair had dinner with Tyga, and then the three of them headed to another spot. In one of the shots, Edwards is kissing Cher's hand in a car.
The following day, a fan tweeted to Cher, "Someone's got a new boyfriendddd," and Cher wrote back, "YESSSSS."
Some followers pointed out Cher and Edwards' age gap, with two fans writing, "Yess, 40 year age difference. Only Cher I love it!" and "He's 36 right? Well done!!!" Cher responded, "LOVE DOESNT KNOW MATH, IT SEES [heart emojis]. RINPOCHE TOLD ME 'SOME PPL MEET, OTHERS RECOGNIZE'"
She answered more fan questions about her relationship.
On Nov. 6, Cher posted a photo of Edwards and wrote "Alexander" with a heart emoji. Commenting on the post, a fan asked if they met at Paris Fashion Week, and Cher said, "Yes." During the most recent Paris Fashion Week in September, Cher walked the runaway at the Balmain show.
In response to another tweet, Cher said that "everyone" in her family has met Edwards.
One fan wrote, "He better be treating you like the queen you are!" Cher confirmed and wrote, "LIKE A [crown emoji]."

In another tweet, the "Believe" singer said, "I'm Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn'[t] Matter That we're Happy & Not Bothering Anyone."
Cher has talked about preferring younger men.
In 2021, Cher spoke to People about dating actor Val Kilmer, who is 14 years her junior, in the '80s. She explained that she felt she had to date younger men because they weren't as intimidated by her as men closer to her age.
"He was so young. Was he 22? What was I? I don't know. Thirty something," Cher said. "It was a bigger deal back then. The truth was if I hadn't gone out with younger men, I would have never had a date. Younger men weren't intimidated by older women. But older men in my age category, they weren't having it."
