James has been an entertainment journalist for more than a decade, writing and editing for outlets like Vulture, Inverse, Polygon, TIME, The Daily Beast, SPIN Magazine, Fatherly, and more. During that time he’s tracked down the uncredited, unheralded hero of The Lord of the Rings films, interviewed several astronauts about the effect of seeing the Earth from space, and written and reported an absurd amount of stories about Godzilla. He’s not a half-bad cartoonist or Dungeons & Dragons DM, either.
