Fisher's daughter, actor Billie Lourd, shared this photo on her late mother's birthday. It's especially poignant that Fisher is pregnant with Lourd in the snap she chose to post as Lourd just welcomed her first child last month.

"Happy Birthday Carrie Frances Fisher," her Star Wars costar Mark Hamill wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a vintage shot of the two almost kissing. "The world will never stop missing you….."
Gary the Dog
Fisher's four-legged best buddy Gary, AKA Gary Fisher, posted a gallery of photos of them doing everything together, from having tea to visiting the White House.
"Happy b day to the best MOM/TRAVEL COMPANION/SHOPPING BUDDY/PARTNER IN CRIME/BEST FRIEND that anyone could ever have," the caption reads. "Miss u more than ever 🐶❤️"

Joonas Suotamo, the actor who donned the Chewbacca suit for the recent Star Wars trilogy, tweeted a short and sweet message with a photo of the wookiee embracing General Leia.
"Miss you, Carrie. Happy birthday ❤️," he wrote.
Fisher costarred with Jim Belushi in The Man With One Red Shoe and with his late brother John in The Blues Brothers. "Happy birthday sweetheart," Belushi shared on Twitter with an image from their 1985 movie. "I think about you all the time."
