But we're here to tell you that, according to astrology, your lucky number might not actually be so lucky. Whether it's a number's physical shape or its planetary associations, these are the digits that astrologers say are the luckiest. Read on to see if your favorite makes the list.

"When it comes to numbers and luck, everyone always just assumes 7 is lucky and 13 is unlucky, but the most important number of all is actually zero because it's a circle that has no end—think infinity," explains Jamie Gomes (also known as Elementually), best-selling author, hotline psychic, and TikTok personality.
On her website, Gomes adds that zero represents "beginnings, cycles, and the infinite potential of the universe." But if you see three zeros in a row, it can amplify these things.
"When you repeatedly see the number 000, it may be a sign of an upcoming spiritual awakening or moment of enlightenment," she says. And since it's associated with wholeness, it "may be a reminder to let go of feelings of separation or isolation and to embrace the interconnectedness of all things."

According to Gomes, much of the reason eight is considered lucky in astrology is for the same reason as zero—it looks like an infinity sign.
Psychic reader and astrologer Emily Newman adds that many cultures see eight as lucky because of its "connection with riches, abundance, and financial success."
Likewise, in astrology, eight "represents authority, ambition, and material success," says astrologer Bella Nguen.

Of all the lucky numbers, three was cited most by astrologers.
Rachel Clare, an astrologer at Mysticsense, says three is associated with the planet Jupiter, the planet of expansion, abundance, and good fortune. "Therefore, the influence of Jupiter lends its magic to the number 3, making it a symbol of prosperity and positive outcomes."
However, there's even more that makes this number lucky. "The number 3 holds a special place in the fabric of the universe itself," adds Clare.
"Think about it: We live in a world filled with trinities and triads. We have the past, present, and future; the three primary colors; and even the three dimensions of space," she explains. "This inherent trinity resonates with harmony, balance, and completeness, which are often associated with good fortune and a sense of fulfillment."
Sidhharrth S. Kumaar, an astrologer and numerologist who founded NumroVani, says that 33 is also quite lucky. "This is a number that infuses self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-reliance in an individual, which boosts the motivation of a person."

In numerology—an ancient principle that draws meaning from sequences of numbers or repeated numbers—"five is regarded as a symbol of freedom, adventure, and unpredictability," says Clare.
She explains that five encourages living in the present moment and embracing change. Therefore, those who resonate with five "are often known for their magnetic personalities, a penchant for exploration, and a zest for life."
Moreover, five has deep cultural roots as a symbol of good fortune, "from the five elements in ancient Chinese philosophy (earth, fire, water, metal, and wood) to the five-pointed star, a symbol of protection and guidance," adds Clare.

In astrology, six is associated with Venus—the planet of love, beauty, and abundance—notes Clare.
"Therefore, the number six is often considered lucky in matters of love, romance, and relationships," she explains. "It is believed that individuals who have a strong affinity or connection with the number six may experience more harmonious and fulfilling relationships, a greater sense of balance and beauty in their lives, and a general abundance of love and positive experiences."

Clare calls 10 "the superstar" of lucky numbers in astrology.
"It's associated with the tenth house, which is all about your career, success, and reputation in the world," she explains. "Basically, it's the part of your [zodiac] chart that shows how you shine in your professional life."
According to Clare, people who feel a connection with this number are more likely to be in leadership roles and have a strong sense of professional confidence.
"They might find themselves in the right place at the right time, getting noticed for their talents, and enjoying the perks that come with a stellar reputation," she says of 10's lucky potential.
