Heartbreaking Video Shows Tim Tebow Saying Goodbye to His Beloved Dog, Bronco
The former NFL athlete sobbed as he fed him one last time.
On Wednesday night, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, 32, posted a touching tribute to his dog, Bronco, on Instagram after losing him earlier this week. The post included several bittersweet photos commemorating their time together, but the most gut-wrenching part was a video of Tebow breaking down into tears as he fed Bronco a piece of cheese one last time.
At first, Tebow is smiling, as every human does when they see their pup delight in their favorite snack. But then he starts to gently sob, and, if you look closely, you can see tears coming out of the Bronco's eyes as well. He knows.

One of the toughest goodbyes. Wanted to make a special tribute to the sweetest boy ever – thank you for all the joy you brought and all the memories. Aunt Patty, thank you for loving him, and thank you to all the other people including Miss Shea and Miss Mindy for sharing so much love with Bronco. If you had the pleasure of meeting Bronco, one of the best dogs ever, I would love to hear your story. • • Also, thank you for taking care of him every time he was sick – SEVO-Med, Blue Pearl Vet and UF Small Animal Vet Hospital (Go Gators)
Tebow wrote that this was "one of the toughest goodbyes," but that he wanted to properly pay tribute to "the sweetest boy ever."
"Thank you for all the joy you brought and all the memories," he wrote. "If you had the pleasure of meeting Bronco, one of the best dogs ever, I would love to hear your story."
He also included a shout-out to all of Bronco's veterinarians for "taking care of him every time he was sick."
Needless to say, the video is making everyone cry, and Tebow has received many condolences from other people who know how devastating it is to lose a dog.
On Thursday, Tebow posted another group of photos on Instagram, including one of him doing his famous Tebow pose in front of Bronco's grave.
"I was able to lay Bronco to rest in a really special place," he wrote. "I love you, Bronco. Thanks for being the sweetest boy."
