Celebrity siblings: They're just like us—or at least they started out that way. Yes, these famous duos (and one trio) grew up sharing bunk beds and bathrooms, and now they share the Hollywood spotlight, whether fans realize the familial connection or not. From a Gossip Girl and a Teen Witch to two iconic Hollywood legends who happen to share parents, here are the surprising celebrities you'd never guess were actually siblings.

Long before Blake Lively ever landed her starring role on the teen drama Gossip Girl, her older half-sister, Robyn Lively, had a thriving acting career of her own. Back in the day, she starred in the cult classic film Teen Witch and even had a major role on the hit show Twin Peaks. In an interview with Access Hollywood in 2017, the sisters sweetly shared that they are "best friends" and that their bond is "everything," despite their 15-year age gap.

They also have three more siblings: Robyn's sister and Blake's half-sister, Lori; Robyn's brother and Blake's half-brother, Jason; and Blake's brother and Robyn's half-brother, Eric. (Lori is the oldest and Blake is the youngest of the crew.) All five share the same mother, talent agent Elaine Lively, and all five have worked in the entertainment industry. Talk about good genes!

You know Chris Evans primarily from his stint as Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And his brother, Scott Evans, is probably best known from his seasons playing Oliver on the soap opera One Life to Live. If you follow either of the Evans boys on Instagram, you know that they have a pretty typical sibling relationship, including an ongoing prank war in which they jump out and scare each other. Complex, mature stuff!

In the mid-'80s and early '90s, Phylicia Rashad famously starred on The Cosby Show as the family's beloved matriarch, Clair Huxtable. Rashad has an equally talented younger sister in dancer and choreographer Debbie Allen. In fact, Allen began her legendary run on the hit series Fame in 1982, before The Cosby Show even premiered. At the time, the connection was fairly well known. But these days, with Allen's younger fanbase courtesy of Grey's Anatomy, many millennials and Gen Z-ers are surprised to learn of the family ties between the two.

Florence Pugh has had a huge past few years, with acclaimed roles in Midsommar, Little Women, and her upcoming MCU debut in Black Widow. Because they work under different names, you likely missed that her brother Toby Sebastian is also an actor. Most notably, he played Trystane Martell on the fifth season of Game of Thrones and opera singer Andrea Bocelli in the 2017 biopic, The Music of Silence.

Shirley MacLaine (born Shirley MacLean Beaty) got her start in Alfred Hitchcock's 1955 film The Trouble With Harry. To this day, many don't realize that MacLaine and Beatty are siblings, as both chose to alter their birth names when they got their big break. However, as MacLaine shared with Vanity Fair in 2017, the two are still close. "I'm three years older, and I'm protective," said the actor.

In 2006, British pop star Lily Allen released a song called "Alfie," playfully imploring her lazy younger brother to straighten out his life and get a job. So though they may not realize it, Game of Thrones fans might have this song to thank for one of the show's most noteworthy characters. Though they share a last name, you may not have connected Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber to American Gods and Orange Is the New Black actor Pablo Schreiber. They're half brothers who have the same father: Tell Carroll Schreiber, who was also an actor. With 10 years between them, the two didn't grow up at the same time, but they've supported each other's careers and even worked together in one film: the 2004 remake of The Manchurian Candidate.
