The Biggest Homes on the Planet

Some of these are basically cities.

Admit it: If you were suddenly catapulted into immeasurable wealth, one of your first purchases would be an opulent mansion, complete with several infinity pools and a charming butler. But, until the wealth is yours, you'll be happy sitting through episodes of shows like MTV Cribs, playing host to Aaron Carter's "Love Shack" and Richard Branson's 74-acre private island. And, while these more-than-comfortable amenities are true signifiers of excessive wealth, there is an entire secret society of the low-lying rich, whose chateaus and manors prove large enough to double as entire cities.

Yes, from 100-car garages (!) to dining halls cavernous enough to houses guests by the hundreds, herein are the largest homes in the entire world. And for more architectural envy, check out these 20 Stunning New Uses for Old Firehouses You Have to See.
