The Royal Wedding Proved Prince Harry Is the World's Sexiest Man

It's official. The new duke is one cool dude.

Ever since Prince Harry got engaged to Meghan Markle in November of last year, he has wowed women around the world with his romantic gestures—big and small—for his ladylove.

First, there was the gorgeous engagement ring that he designed, which included diamonds from his mother, Princess Diana's, private collection. Then came the BBC interview where he gushed that "all the stars were aligned" when he fell in love at first sight. Since that day, it seems whenever he's seen in public with Meghan he always finds a way to touch her by hold hands or putting a protective gesture on the small of her back.

But after his achingly romantic wedding to our very own American duchess he is, hands down, the world's sexiest man.

The Duke of Sussex had the Twittersphere swooning over his chivalrous, sensitive, and smoking hot sexiness as he stood at the altar with his new bride, the Duchess of Sussex. In the chapel where leading men George Clooney and Idris Elba were among the congregants, Harry reigned supreme.

The 33-year-old royal welled up just as Meghan joined him at the altar St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Dressed in his official British Army Blue and Royals frock coat uniform for the occasion, he looked every inch the prince charming as he smiled at his bride as he saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. Then came a moment that will go down in wedding history as the sexiest few seconds ever to occur on an altar. Harry, absolutely overcome with emotion, mouthed "you look amazing" to Meghan before biting his lip.  Then said, "I'm  so lucky." A GIF for the ages was born. We're thinking there's going to be some talk of a new royal baby in about nine months or so.

Then he oh so tenderly lifted her veil and when the couple's eye met, there was a collective sigh from brides-to-be all over the planet.

Oh, and did we happen to mention the bridal bouquet contained "Forget-Me-Nots" Harry handpicked in the gardens at Windsor Castle.

After the ceremony, the groom escorted his glowing and beautiful bride through the archways of the church that he had, with Meghan decided to decorate with white roses, in honor of his late mother, Princess Diana. Then came the kiss. They stopped briefly, just outside the flower-bedecked doors to St. George's Chapel and kissed each other with such intimacy, it almost felt like an intrusion to watch.

As the newlyweds stepped into their carriage and drove off, their immediately family appeared at the entrance to the chapel. Prince Charles, the wedding's unlikely hero, who had stepped in to escort his new daughter-in-law after Thomas Markle backed out at the last minute due to a scandal involving fake photos and health issues, stood watching his son go off as a newly married man.

The touching sight of the prince as he descended the stairs linking arms with his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, was a reminder that Harry was the best of both his parents—the courtly and gentlemanly Charles and the passionate, loving Diana. Meghan, the new Duchess of Sussex, is one lucky lady. And Harry is living his best life. For more on this charmer, don't miss the 15 Reasons Why Prince Harry is the Most Romantic Royal.
