See Sharon Stone's Priceless Reaction to a Question About Sexual Harassment
"I’ve seen it all.”
Actress Sharon Stone, 59, recently did a television interview on CBS where reporter Lee Cowan asked her if she'd ever experienced sexual harassment in Hollywood.
In an attempt to be polite, the precise way in which he phrased it was, "I don't know how to ask this in a delicate way but, were you ever in a position… that you felt that you were uncomfortable."
Her response was a resounding, 10-seconds of are-you-kidding-me laughter.
"I've been in this business for 40 years, Lee," Stone said, staring him down. "Can you imagine the business I stepped into 40 years ago? Looking like I look? From nowhere, Pennsylvania? I didn't come here with any protection. I've seen it all."
As a bit of background, Stone comes from a small city called Meadville, Pennsylvania. While attending a local college, she won the title of Miss Crawford County, Pennsylvania, becoming a candidate for Miss Pennsylvania. At the age of 19, she left Pennsylvania and moved to New York City to become a model. We all know how that story goes.
After quitting modeling to pursue acting, and landed a small part in Woody Allen's 1980 film, Stardust Memories. She later starred in a number of roles, but it wasn't until she was cast as a super-sexy, sophisticated potential serial killer in the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct that she became a megastar, as well as a sex symbol. So, yea, she's seen it all.
You can watch a clip of the interview, which focused on her interest in getting back into movies, as well as an upcoming starring role in a new HBO mini-series, Mosaic, below. And for more Hollywood coverage, don't miss the 20 Craziest Celebrity Rumors of All Time.
