Prince William Will Be Best Man at the Royal Wedding

The Duke of Cambridge has chosen to miss one of his favorite duties to be there.

Talk about brotherly love!

Prince William will forego one of his favorite traditions to be at the best man at Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle on May 19th at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The duke has been President of the Football Association for 12 years and traditionally presents the winner's trophy. This year, he will not be at the game which is taking place the same day as the wedding, so he can stand with his brother as he takes his vows. Prince Harry served as Prince William's best man during his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.

"Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his best man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle," Kensington Palace announced on  Twitter on Thursday.

"The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th."

This means the new father of three will sacrifice heading to the FA Cup final, which is one of his favorite days of the year. "He would not miss being at his brother's side on this special day," said a royal source.
