Here's Where Prince Harry Is Likely Celebrating His Bachelor Party
The royal stag party could happen in Switzerland.
Prince Harry is reportedly planning to host a "wild stag" party at a posh ski resort in the Swiss Alps before marrying Meghan Markle at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19th.
According to a new report in The Sun, Harry's "team" has been spotted checking out La Vache in Verbier, Switzerland, a swanky eatery in the resort area as a possible spot for the bash. Their cover was blown when the same royal protection officers who skied at the resort with the prince in 2016 were recently seen looking around the restaurant.
One local told the Daily Star Sunday, "I have just seen Harry's advance close-protection team come into La Vache for lunch." The restaurant is a favorite of the prince's and part-owned by ex-England rugby star Lawrence Dallagio and singer James Blunt.
Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal is rumored to be designing a menu of burgers and pizzas for the fancy fete.
William and Harry's friend Guy Pelly is also reportedly planning an "invitation-only" bash at the exclusive Coco Club, known as the home of the "young, rich and famous."
Harry's uncle, Prince Andrew, has reportedly offered his £13million holiday home, Chalet Helora, as a crash pad for the weekend festivities.
The Swiss Alps has long been a favorite vacation spot of the royal family. Princess Diana and Prince Charles took frequent vacations there with their sons before and after their marriage.
One insider told me: "Harry is keen to let loose and enjoy himself before the big day. He wants to do it away from London, he loves [the Alps] and wants to have all his best friends there to celebrate with him."
According to friends of the couple, Harry and Meghan will also be hosting a joint stag and hen party—a "hag" at a polo match in the spring right before the wedding.
Meghan will likely celebrate her upcoming wedding with two "hen parties"—one in California attended by her celebrity friends, including Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra and Suits co-stars Sarah Rafferty and Abigail Spencer, and another more low-key affair in London hosted by the Duchess of Cambridge.
