Here's Why This Mountain-Top Marriage Proposal Is Going Viral
It's just so darn sweet.
For four years now, Lyd and her girlfriend, Meg, have been taking instant photos of their adventures together. Over the weekend, they were taking a hike in New York's Minnewaska state park when Lyd suggested taking a photo of Meg standing at the top of the mountain, looking out at the view. Afterwards, Lyd said, "Let's look back at our photos to see if they developed properly."

Obviously, Meg said yes to the proposal, and put on the ring, which is sterling silver flowers and branches with a rainbow moonstone set in.
"Yesterday was the happiest day of my life," Meg wrote in a tweet.
In another tweet, Meg shared the photos that she used to propose. The photos quickly went viral, amassing over 25,000 retweets and almost 160,ooo likes over the course of two days, not to mention loads of congratulations for the happy couple.
