Genius Six-Year-Old Goes Viral for Memorizing Every Country in the World
He even knows their capitals!
Let's face it: geography is kind of an overlooked subject in American elementary schools, and most of us can't even locate Taiwan without the aid of Google Maps. But six-year-old Landon Gregory is a bonafide expert. He recently showed off his knowledge on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and it's pretty impressive.
He can name every country in the world, his favorite being Russia—cue skeptical glance from Ellen—because it's the largest and because he really digs the national anthem (which he adorably tries and kind of fails to sing on the show).
Ellen gave him a little quiz on the show, and not only could he instantly find Chad on the map, he knew its capital was N'Djamena. Fun fact: he's got an uncle named Chad. Also, the country has almost the same flag as Romania. He also managed to find and name the capitals of the Seychelles, the Philippines, and Brunei.
