Target Just Announced Huge Sales Starting on This Exact Date

Mark your calendar for the best shopping deals of the year with these very early Black Friday sales.

Retail chains have had to undergo a swift and significant change in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Beyond redesigning stores and making their e-commerce platforms more efficient for people staying—and shopping—at home, they're also re-evaluating the entire customer experience. With the holiday season quickly approaching, many major outlets are switching up their usual year-end strategies. Target, for instance, just announced that it would offer massive bargains earlier than expected. On Oct. 13 and 14, which is not coincidentally the same period as Amazon's Prime Day event, Target will release its "Deal Days" promotion.

Additionally, the chain will fast track its Black Friday discounts for the entire month of November, instead of waiting until Thanksgiving. "By kicking off our holiday deals earlier than ever, offering Black Friday pricing throughout the full month of November, and extending our Price Match Guarantee, we're letting guests know they don't need to wait or face the crowds to get the best deals." Christina Hennington, Target's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a statement.

The Minneapolis-based retailer isn't the only one to look ahead. Read on to find out which other popular stores are making their Black Friday sales earlier than ever. And for more insider shopping secrets, This Is the Absolute Best Day of the Week to Go to Target.
