The 15 Most Common Conditions That COVID Survivors Share
These widespread medical issues that are common among COVID patients might surprise you.

Over the course of the pandemic, we've learned that certain pre-existing medical conditions may put you at a greater risk of not only contracting coronavirus, but also developing a more severe case of the disease once you become infected. Medical issues like diabetes and obesity are often mentioned in this context, and while those conditions are not uncommon among patients with COVID-19, it turns out there are many ailments that occur with even greater frequency among those with the virus. At least that's what a recent patient-led survey found.
A self-organized group of coronavirus patients who have been discussing their symptoms in the Body Politic COVID-19 Support Group for months decided to conduct a survey on the range of issues they were experiencing—from frequently-reported coronavirus symptoms to pre-existing medical conditions.
The survey involved 640 presumed positive or proven positive COVID cases (though some tested negative) and was primarily distributed to the Body Politic COVID-19 Support Group on Slack, the Facebook group Survivor Corps, and through the organizers' personal social media accounts. To better understand what may increase your risk of catching coronavirus, here are the 15 most common conditions shared by survivors of COVID-19.
