Cardi B Is Bringing WAP to a Wild New Line of Products

The multihyphenate star is lending her brand to a long list of new goods.

Hot on the heels of the success of "WAP," her single with Megan Thee Stallion, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this summer, Cardi B has applied to trademark the acronym WAP for use on a number of new products. According to TMZ, the rapper recently filed paperwork to trademark the WAP brand for use on clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses, athletic bags, headgear, stickers and posters. The multihyphenate star has also applied to use the name on a variety of beverages, including mineral water, fruit juice, sports drinks, sodas, beer, and liquor.

While celebrities frequently file for merchandise trademarks for product lines that never come to fruition, it seems as though the rollout of Cardi B's WAP empire is well underway. The rapper has already launched a number of products bearing the infamous acronym through her official store, including necklaces, hoop earrings, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sports bras, bike shorts, and, in a tongue-in-cheek nod to the song's subject matter, raincoats and umbrellas. However, Cardi B isn't the only star to lend her name to a highly anticipated product line in recent months. Read on to find out which other celeb lines you may be shopping in the near future.
